Heights & Heritage : Jebel Shams Summit + Nizwa

1 pm - Arrive at the company center Muscat

1:30 pm - Trip Briefing 

2 pm - Set on a 3.5 hour drive to Jebel Shams 

5:30 pm - Arrive at Base Camp 

We will offer you the choice of a complimentary tent or outdoor cot bed for those who wish to sleep under the stars.

7:30 pm - After setting up camp the group will enjoy a delicious dinner cooked on the fire. 

5 am – Wake up to prepare a warm breakfast 

6 am – Pack up camp and get ready to drive to the start point

7 am – Start Hike.

Hike 10 km to the summit, taking in the spectacular views along the way.

Arrive at the summit, celebrate your wins and take a memorable picture at the top before relaxing or a while.

Begin your descent, arriving back at basecamp by evening. 

6 pm - Spend another night camping here. Unwind, relax around a campfire and take in the star studded night sky as you feast on a BBQ dinner.

7 am- Pack up camp and begin your drive to Nizwa.

Visit the iconic Nizwa Fort and Nizwa souq before exploring the area and quaint streets nearby.

Take in the sights and sounds of the historic town before continuing your journey back to Muscat

1-2 pm- Arrive back in Muscat
