Ayutthaya Thaïlande

La ville d’Ayutthaya est la capitale de la province d’Ayutthaya en Thaïlande. Situé dans la vallée de la rivière Chao Phraya. Ayutthaya est devenue la deuxième capitale siamoise après Sukhothai. Les ruines de la vieille ville sont préservées dans le parc historique d'Ayutthaya, reconnu internationalement comme site du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. Les ruines, caractérisées par le prang (tours de reliquaire) et les monastères gigantesques, donnent une idée de la splendeur passée de la ville.
